Bhopal-Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express: The new Amrit Bharat Express is expected to run between Bhopal and Bengaluru from July. There is news that this train can run via Pune route.
Vande Bharat Express is running successfully across the country as a premium semi-high-speed train. Vande Bharat has received a good response from the passengers. However, the price of their tickets is a bit high and it is difficult to travel at night, so Indian Railways has come up with Amrit Bharat Express to make rail travel more convenient for the general class. Now the railways plan to expand this train further. This train will run to more places after the formation of a new government at the Center. There are reports that the new Amrit Bharat Express is expected to run between Bhopal and Bengaluru from July. It is reported that this train may run via Pune route. However, no official details are available about the schedule and stopping stations of the new train.

Prime MinisterNarendra Modiflagged off two new Amrit Bharat trains between Malda-Bengaluru and Delhi-Ayodhya-Darbhanga at Ayodhya railway station on December 30 last year. Known as the common man’s train, the Amrit Bharat Express can carry around 1,834 passengers. It runs at a top speed of 130 kmph and has a front-rear engine. The train consists of second class sleeper coaches and unreserved coaches that do not have air conditioning (AC) system and automatic doors.
This Amrit Bharat coach has many advanced facilities including mobile charging point, LED lights, food table, mobile and bottle holder. CCTV cameras have been installed for security. Amrit Bharat trains are designed for day and night operations. This train has a total of 22 coaches and it covers a distance of more than 800 km in one go.
Preparations are being made for Vande Bharat Sleeper and Vande Bharat Metro
The Railway Department is developing Vande Bharat Sleeper to help passengers traveling to far-flung places. It is being told that these trains will come on track in the next few days and will be an alternative to Rajdhani Express. It will have a total of 16 AC coaches and will have self-operated doors and odorless toilets. The Railway Department is also preparing Vande Bharat Metro trains to connect nearby cities. These are likely to run soon. The train may be trialed in July. It is known that currently 50 Vande Metro trains are being produced.
