Railways is preparing to run Vande Bharat Express train from Gorakhpur to Agra Fort via Aishbagh. North Eastern Railway has also proposed the number of Vande Bharat Express in its zone. North Eastern Railway has made a proposal to run Gorakhpur-Agra Vande Bharat with number 22583 and on the return journey with number 22584.
The probable route of this train will be via Barabanki-Aishbagh-Kanpur Central. To decide the time table, a route survey will be conducted and its report will be prepared soon. Approval to run Agra Vande Bharat Express may be given in the time table committee meeting of IRCTC.
There is a discussion going on among the Railways regarding whether this train will be AC chair car or sleeper. According to a senior Railway Board official, a letter has been written to the Rail Coach Factory for allotment of sleeper racks. In such a situation, it is expected that it will be Vande Bharat with sleeper seats. Due to Lok Sabha elections, code of conduct has been imposed at this time. In such a situation, this Vande Bharat Express can run after the elections in July.
