Northeastern Frontier Railway tracks are being electrified under Vande Bharat. This is being done between Dharmanagar to Agartala and it is believed that this work will be completed by June or July. Bhowmik said at an election rally that if Vande Bharat is extended to Agartala after the completion of electrification work, it will take four to five hours for passengers to reach Guwahati from Agartala.

Vande Bharat train running between Patna-Lucknow runs via Ayodhya, which is greatly benefiting the devotees who wish to have darshan of Lord Ram.
