Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Launch Date: There is good news for those waiting for Vande Bharat Sleeper Train. Indian Railways is preparing to run 10 new Vande Bharat Sleeper trains soon. These trains will be fully equipped with modern facilities and will give passengers a great travel experience. World-class interiors and advanced technology have been used in these Vande Bharat Sleeper trains.
ET Now quoted a senior railway official as saying that the Railways is preparing to run these trains in the financial year 2025-26. For this, the Railways is working fast. The railway official says that 10 Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are expected to start in the current financial year. These trains are being built in collaboration with BEML. However, regarding the launch date, the official said that the final decision on this will be taken by the Railway Board.

On which routes will these trains run?
At present, the Railways has not officially announced the routes of Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. But it is believed that these semi-high speed trains will be run on many routes like New Delhi-Howrah, Sealdah-New Delhi, New Delhi-Pune, New Delhi-Mumbai and New Delhi-Secunderabad.
At present, Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are being manufactured by three companies. These companies are – BEML, Kinet Railway Solutions Ltd and a joint venture of Titagarh Rail Systems Limited and BHEL. Indian Railways will get a total of 210 Vande Bharat Sleeper trains from these three companies.
What will be the special features of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train
The aim of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is to completely change long distance and overnight travel in India. This train is being built to provide world-class travel and excellent facilities to the passengers. The structure of Vande Bharat Sleeper Train will be made of austenitic stainless steel. There will be a total of 16 coaches in a trainset. It will have seating and lying facilities for a total of 823 passengers.
