When will the journey start?
According to the information, after the success and popularity of Vande Bharat, the Railway Department is working on the design of Vande Sleeper Express at ICF, Chennai. Its design is expected to be finalized by next year i.e. March 2024. The trial of Vande sleeper will run for a year. 40 to 50% change is possible in the layout design and interior of the bogie of this sleeper train.
Further Vande Bharat sleeper will be run at a maximum speed of 240 Km/H. The speed of the train will be increased in a phased manner. The track is being upgraded for this.
