New Vande Bharat Train: Vande Bharat train made completely with indigenous technology is one of the ambitious plans of Indian Railways. The launch of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train was postponed after the accident in Balasore, Odisha. Now Railway is planning to inaugurate 5 Vande Bharat trains simultaneously in the month of June. According to the news of PTI, Railways is going to start operation of Vande Bharat train on five different routes. These trains will be flagged off on June 26, 2023.

On which routes will the new Vande Bharat train operate?

The special thing is that this is the first time that the country is going to get the gift of five Vande Bharat trains simultaneously. According to PTI news, all these trains will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through video conferencing. The routes on which these new Vande Bharat trains will start operating are Mumbai-Goa, Bengaluru-Hubli, Patna-Ranchi, Bhopal-Indore and Bhopal-Jabalpur. Vande Bharat train will be flagged off on all these routes on June 26.

The inauguration of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train was canceled

On June 2, three trains collided with each other in Balasore, Odisha. 288 people lost their lives in this horrific accident. More than 1,000 people were also injured in this accident. After this accident, the inaugural program of the Mumbai-Goa Vande Bharat train on 3 June was cancelled. After this, now there is news of the inauguration of the train on this route on 26 June.

Vande Bharat is running on 18 routes

Significantly, the Vande Bharat train is running on a total of 18 routes in the country. For the first time this train was operated on the Delhi-Varanasi route in February, 2019. It is a train made of 100 percent Indian technology which is fully air-conditioned. Its train has automatic doors and 180 degree rotating seats. This train is also equipped with new technology like Wi-Fi and GPS. For the safety of the train, KAVACH technology has also been used in it.
