Virat Kohli’s big record in danger, Pakistan’s Babar Azam is behind this world record

Babar Azam had recently become the number one batsman of ODI recently, leaving behind Indian captain Virat Kohli (Virat Kohli).

Pakistani batsman Babar Azam has been compared to Indian captain Virat Kohli. Azam has been consistently scoring runs in the past few times and has so far broken the records of many veterans, including Virat Kohli. Especially in the T20 format these days, he has a fire. Now another record of the Indian captain is in the eyes of Babar Azam. He will get a chance to break this record in the T20 series against Zimbabwe.

Babar Azam scored his first century of his career in the third T20 against South Africa on 14 April this month. He scored 210 runs in the four-match T20 series and was adjudged Player of the Series. Under Babar’s captaincy, Pakistan won the four-match series 3–1 against South Africa. The three-match T20 series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe starts in Harare from 21 April. In this series, Babar Azam will have a chance to break Virat Kohli’s record.

Virat Kohli’s record on Babar Azam’s target

Pakistan captain Babar Azam has scored 1940 runs in 49 innings of 51 T20 matches at an average of 49, during which his strike rate is 131. This includes one century and 17 half-centuries. Now Azam is only 60 runs away from the score of two thousand runs. Even after scoring three innings of three matches of the series, he scored 60 runs, even then he will become the fastest player to score 2000 runs in T20 format. With this, he will overtake Virat Kohli.

Virat had scored two thousand runs in 56 innings of 60 matches. While Aaron Finch is the second batsman to do this amazing number two. He has done this amazing in 62 innings of 62 matches. Pakistan’s record in T20 has also been excellent. This team is the only team in the world to win more than 100 T20 matches. Not only this, Pakistan’s team has played 14 matches against Zimbabwe so far, out of which they have not lost a single match.
