Volkswagen is about to launch its performance-focused ID.4 GTX electric car on tomorrow, April 28. The company has released a teaser video before the launch of this car, in which the rear and front headlight of this electric car is seen blinking at the end of the video. It will be the fastest and sportier car in the company’s electric vehicle lineup.

Posting a short video on Twitter, the company wrote, “Wait two more days until we introduce our new # VWID4 GTX.” This sporty dual-motor Volkswagen ID.4 GTX variant is expected to have a powerful powertrain so that it will accelerate from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in just 6.2 seconds.

This electric vehicle is expected to have an all-wheel drive system, for which it can be given a front-mounted electric motor. It will generate power of 302 hp (225 kW / 306 PS) and torque of 339 lb-ft (460 Nm).

Apart from this, it is also expected that the GTX version of the company will be visually different from the ID.4 version and it will be given focused suspension. The company had earlier teased this performance vehicle with GTX branding.

Apart from this, Volkswagen is also working on the Coupe Inspired ID.5 for the international market. The company plans to launch 20 new electric cars by 2025 and plans to invest more than 11 billion euros in electric mobility between 2020 and 2024. The company sold 212,000 units of electric vehicles last year, which is always very high. Of this, 134,000 were fully electric vehicles.
