UP Weather Alert Today: Monsoon has started becoming active once again in Uttar Pradesh. Today, there is a possibility of heavy rains in 12 districts and light to moderate rains in other 2 dozen districts. This round of rain is expected to continue till July 28. There is a possibility of rain along with the movement of clouds for the next 3 days. Heavy rains may also occur in some districts of western Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, there may be rain in some districts in eastern Uttar Pradesh from July 26.
According to the UP Meteorological Department, on July 25, there is a possibility of thundershowers at many places in western Uttar Pradesh and some places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning at one or two places in eastern Uttar Pradesh and heavy rain at one or two places. It will rain at some places in the state during the next 24 hours. There is a possibility of a decrease in the maximum temperature by 2-3 degrees in the next one to two days, while there will not be any significant change in the minimum temperature.
Heavy rain alert in these districts
Rain is expected in Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Amroha, Sambhal, Mainpuri, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Hardoi, Barabanki, Ayodhya, Basti, Siddharthnagar, Santakbirnagar, Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Kushinagar and Deoria districts.

Today the temperature will be like this in the state
- The minimum temperature of all the districts of Uttar Pradesh is forecast to be between 27°C to 28°C.
- In Lucknow, the maximum temperature on Tuesday can be 36 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can be 29 degree Celsius.
- Barabanki, Hardoi, Kanpur, Etawah, Lakhimpur Kheri, Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Ballia, Bahraich, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Banda, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Fursatganj, Gorakhpur, Fatehgarh, Basti, Jhansi and Hamirpur are expected to have a maximum temperature of 34 to 37 degrees Celsius on Tuesday.
- Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Moradabad, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Agra, Aligarh and Bulandshahr are likely to experience maximum temperatures ranging between 33°C to 36°C.
- In districts like Ghaziabad and Noida, the maximum temperature is likely to be between 30 to 31 degree Celsius.
- In UP’s Mathura and Chitrakoot, the maximum temperature can range between 34°C to 37°C.
