Rajasthan Weather Alert Today: The rainy season is going to continue in Rajasthan till the end of June. The Meteorological Department has predicted good rains in the south-west and south-eastern parts of the state today. On the same Friday, an alert has also been issued for heavy rains in the eastern parts of the state. On Wednesday and Thursday, along with rain in different areas of Rajasthan, there has also been a warning of extremely heavy rain at some places. Today, a yellow alert has been issued for rain with thunder in 30 districts of Rajasthan. There is a possibility of heavy rains in many districts on June 29. During this, winds will blow at a speed of 30 to 40 kmph.
Rain alert on June 29-30 as well
According to the Rajasthan Meteorological Department, on June 29, Red Alert has been issued in Kota, Baran, Jhalawar, Ajmer and Orange Alert has been issued in Tonk, Jaipur, Dungarpur, Pratapgarh, Chittorgarh, Bundi, Bhilwara, Banswara. Along with this, yellow alert has been issued in Churu, Tonk, Sikar, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Jaipur, Dausa, Bundi, Bhilwara, Ajmer, Alwar, Baran on June 30. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Sirohi, Dausa, Bharatpur, Baran, Alwar. Rain activities have been predicted to increase on June 28 and 29, there is a strong possibility of extremely heavy rains at some places in South Western Rajasthan on Thursday.
Orange-yellow alert issued
According to the Rajasthan Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued today expressing the possibility of heavy rains in Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh. Yellow alert has been issued in Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, Churu with moderate rain. Orange alert has been issued in the districts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bharatpur divisions in south-eastern Rajasthan. Apart from this, there is a yellow alert for all the remaining districts. Along with this, lightning and thunder can also occur in these areas with strong winds.
