There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in Sirohi, Dausa, Bharatpur, Baran, Alwar. Rain activities have been predicted to increase on June 28 and 29, there is a strong possibility of extremely heavy rains at some places in South Western Rajasthan on Thursday.
Orange-yellow alert issued
According to the Rajasthan Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued today expressing the possibility of heavy rains in Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, Kota, Pratapgarh. Yellow alert has been issued in Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dungarpur, Sawai Madhopur, Udaipur, Churu with moderate rain. Orange alert has been issued in the districts of Udaipur, Ajmer, Kota and Bharatpur divisions in south-eastern Rajasthan. Apart from this, there is a yellow alert for all the remaining districts.
