Weather Today Update: Fog in UP-Haryana, outbreak of cold wave in Delhi, know the weather of your state

In many states of North India, there is an alert of the Meteorological Department regarding the situation ranging from cold wave to severe cold wave. According to IMD, on January 17 and 18, severe cold wave can disturb people in many areas of North West India. Today i.e. on January 17, cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are expected in some parts of Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi.

How will be the weather in Delhi?

According to IMD, there will be an outbreak of cold wave on January 17 and 18, while there will be dense fog on January 19, 20 and 21. During this, the temperature at the main stations of Delhi-NCR can reach 3 degree Celsius and the maximum temperature can reach 21 degree Celsius. In Delhi’s Safdarjung area, on January 17, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 2 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 19 degrees. According to the Meteorological Department, light rain can be seen in Delhi on January 19.

How will be the weather in Uttar Pradesh?

In Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, the minimum temperature can be recorded at 4 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 13 degrees. Along with this, moderate fog can also be seen in Lucknow. Talking about Ghaziabad, the minimum temperature can be recorded here at 3 degrees and the maximum temperature can be recorded at 18 degrees. At the same time, moderate fog will also be seen in Ghaziabad.

Cold wave conditions in these states as well

According to the Meteorological Department, cold wave conditions may prevail in some areas of Himachal Pradesh on January 17 and 18. On the other hand, there will be a cold wave situation in Madhya Pradesh today. Apart from this, dense fog can disturb people in northern parts of Punjab, Haryana, North Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. If we talk about Bihar, there is a possibility of dense fog for the next four days. With this, there may be frost in Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh for the next two days.

Severe cold in Gujarat too

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a condition of cold wave in many areas of Gujarat. According to IMD, there is a possibility of cold wave conditions in Saurashtra and Kutch districts mainly in Rajkot, Porbandar and Kutch today.
