Severe cold continues in Madhya Pradesh. In many districts the temperature is below 10 degrees and there is dense fog in the morning and cold wave conditions at night. In view of the cold winds, yellow orange alert has been issued in 17 districts on Tuesday also.
MP Weather Update & Alert: Due to the influence of 2 weather systems and northern icy winds, severe cold is being witnessed in Madhya Pradesh. Many districts of the state are in the grip of dense fog and cold wave. In the last 24 hours, there was a huge drop in the temperature in many districts, at present the weather patterns are going to remain the same for the next 2-3 days, but after 26-27 January, some relief from the cold is expected. Today a dozen An alert of dense fog and cold day has been issued in the districts.
Fluctuations in weather will continue till January 30
According to MP Meteorological Department, at present the weather is expected to remain the same. There is a possibility of further drop in the minimum temperature in the next two days, due to which the cold wave will continue to shiver. Once again a new western disturbance is going to form around January 26-27, due to which the day temperature will drop and fog will increase. This will also increase the cold and its effect will last till January 30.
What does the weather department say?
At present, Dronika is running from Karnataka to Chhattisgarh, which is passing through Vidarbha. A cyclone is formed in the upper part of the air in Marathwada, although both these weather systems do not have much impact on the weather of the state, but the western jet stream is active at a height of 12 kilometers in the plains of North India, due to which cold winds blow. And the effect of cold remains strong.
Warning of fog, cold day and cold wave in these districts today
- Cold day in Sagar, Singrauli, Mauganj, Sidhi, Rewa, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Morena, Satna, Umaria, Jabalpur, Panna, Damoh, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Datia and Bhind districts of Madhya Pradesh.
- Moderate fog in the districts of Chambal division, Damoh, Sagar, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore and Bhopal.
- Today on Tuesday, cold wave warning has been issued in Datia, Bhind, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Sagar, Singrauli, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Umaria, Sidhi, Jabalpur, Rewa, Morena, Mauganj and Satna.
- Cold day in Chhatarpur, Satna, Jabalpur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi and Mauganj districts.
- There may be light to moderate fog in Indore, Khandwa, Dhar districts.
Weather condition of last 24 hours
- The lowest temperature of three degrees Celsius was recorded in Datia on Tuesday. There was cold wave in Datia and cold day in Ratlam, Naugaon Khajuraho, Tikamgarh, Datia and Gwalior.
- The minimum temperature in hill station Pachmarhi on Monday night was 10.8 degrees Celsius. Except Narmadapuram, Seoni and Malajkhand, the mercury did not reach above 10 degrees in any city on Monday night. Narmadapuram recorded the highest minimum mercury of 10.5 degrees.
- Dense fog remained in Morena, Bhind, Gwalior, Datia, Niwari and Chhatarpur.
- There was moderate level of fog in Sheopur Kalan, Shivpuri, Ashoknagar, Tikamgarh, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Sidhi and Singrauli.
- Cold day prevailed in Niwari, Datia, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Satna, Rewa, Mauganj, Sidhi, Jabalpur, Dhar, Indore and Khandwa.
