Weather Update: Heatwave alert for 4 days due to extreme heat in these states, know how the weather will be in Delhi

According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave alert has been issued in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh on 23 April. Heatwave alert: The scorching heat has started in some states of the country, while in some parts of North India the weather remains mild due to rain. According to the Meteorological Department, heat wave alert has been issued in West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha and Uttar Pradesh on 23 April. Apart from this, there is a possibility of rain with thunder in Punjab and Haryana. There are chances of snowfall in Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarand. Heat wave will haunt these areas for 4 days

Delhi’s climate

There is no possibility of rain in Delhi this whole week. The Meteorological Department says that the heat is likely to increase in Delhi in the coming days and the maximum temperature may reach 40 degrees Celsius. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi may remain between 38 to 40 degrees Celsius throughout this week. The minimum temperature is likely to be between 22 to 25 degrees Celsius. At the same time, strong winds may blow in Delhi today.

Alert of rain and snowfall in these areas of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, light to moderate rain and snowfall is possible in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand between April 23 and 26. On April 23, there may be sporadic rain with thunder, lightning and strong winds (30-40 km per hour) in North Punjab and North Haryana.

Apart from this, light to moderate rain is possible in Northeast India between April 23 and 24. On April 23, light to moderate rain may occur over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, parts of Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh and Sikkim. Light rain is possible in Central Maharashtra and Marathwada between April 23 and 26 and in North Konkan and Goa on April 23. There may be sporadic rainfall in Kerala and Interior Karnataka between 23rd and 24th April.

Seasonal activities of the country

According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the western disturbance is over Northern Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir. At the same time, a cyclonic wind area is formed over North-Eastern Bangladesh. Apart from this, a trough extends from Bangladesh to North West Bay of Bengal. A cyclonic circulation has formed over northeastern Assam. A trough is extending from Vidarbha to Tamil Nadu via Telangana and Rayalaseema.
