Weather Update: There may be rain in UP-Haryana and Uttarakhand today, rain continues in Maharashtra

This time the monsoon is moving rapidly towards North India. Releasing the forecast on Friday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the monsoon will soon knock in the north and east states this time ahead of schedule.




In this, the first rain of monsoon is being predicted in Bihar late evening or Saturday. At the same time, heavy rain may occur in western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Earlier, monsoon has arrived in Madhya Pradesh 7 days ago. Meanwhile, the effect of pre-monsoon rains also reached Delhi, NCR, western Uttar Pradesh, Haryana. Due to this, many areas of the state received heavy rains late in the night, giving relief to the people from the heat, but trees and electric poles have also fallen due to the storm.

Orange alert issued in
Madhya Pradesh According to the IMD, an orange alert was issued due to the advance of southwest monsoon in Madhya Pradesh, warning of heavy rain and thundershowers in 11 districts of the state.

After reaching Jabalpur, Hoshangabad divisions, large parts of Indore and Shahdol divisions and some parts of Bhopal and Sagar divisions in the state, Monsoon is moving into other parts of the state. The Southwest Monsoon has also advanced into parts of North Arabian Sea, Gujarat and Chhattisgarh, the IMD said.

60 percent excess rain in 21 districts of Maharashtra 21 out
of 36 districts of Maharashtra received 60 percent excess rain between June 1 and 10. According to the IMD, there has been 60 percent more rain than the average during the last 10 days. Apart from Mumbai, the coastal districts of Thane, Raigad and Palghar received heavy rains. It is raining continuously in many cities and districts including Mumbai here.
