There is a possibility of light rain in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and south-east Madhya Pradesh. People may get some respite from the heat in many districts of UP-Bihar. According to Skymet Weather, today there are chances of light rain in many districts of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and West Bengal. At the same time, there is a possibility of light rain in Odisha, Chhattisgarh and south-east Madhya Pradesh.
Meteorological Department issued heat wave warning
The Meteorological Department on Friday warned of heat wave in parts of eastern and peninsular India in the next two days. The areas where heat wave is likely to occur include Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Vidarbha, North Karnataka, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema and Telangana.

Talking about UP-Bihar, today people in some districts can get some respite from the heat. Rain is expected in Bhabhua, Rohtas, Banka, Jamui, Nawad today.
Regarding UP, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that rain is expected in many districts of the state from April 8. Today the weather is likely to remain dry in Western UP as well as Eastern UP. At the same time, light rain is expected in many districts including Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Bareilly.
