Weather Update Today: Heavy rain in 17 states for next 84 hours, temperature rises here, know IMD forecast

In September, once again a warning of normal rainfall between 91 to 109 percent has been issued. A warning of above normal rainfall has been issued in the Himalayan foothills adjacent to Eastern India and East Central India. Rainy season will begin once again in Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

A forecast of strong wind has been issued in the capital Delhi today. The temperature in Uttarakhand has reached 35 degrees Celsius on the very first day of September. However, there will be a ban on rain activity in Uttarakhand this entire week. The possibility of rain has also been ruled out in Himachal.

121 year old record broken in the month of August!

A record of 121 years has been broken in the month of August. Along with the hottest month recorded, changes in the environment have also been seen. Let us tell you that in 1901, there was so much heat in the month of August when the weather was the driest and warmest recorded. The whole of central India and south peninsular India have seen deficient rainfall in August. El Nino is considered to be the biggest reason for this. August has now been included in the worst month of monsoon deficit in history.

More than normal rainfall records in many areas

Once again significant changes will be seen in the weather in the month of September. While predicting for the month of September, the Meteorological Department body is that more than normal rainfall will be recorded in many areas. According to IMD Director General Mahapatra, very less rainfall has been recorded in monsoon since 1901 since August this year. In August, 191.2 mm rainfall has been received across India whereas earlier in 1965, 1992.3 mm rainfall was recorded.

Rain alert in 10 areas

The areas where rain warnings have been issued today include

Heavy rain forecast has been issued in Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Vidarbha including Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram.

Kerala, some areas of Andaman and Nicobar Deep Group may see heavy rains for the next 7 days.

At the same time, from September 3, rain warnings have been issued in many areas of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh including Jharkhand. The weather will be clear in Ghaziabad today.

According to the Meteorological Department, light to heavy rain warnings have been issued in Manipur, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Maharashtra, Tripura.

The trend of increase in temperature will continue in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Chandigarh including Himachal, Uttarakhand, Jammu Kashmir, Leh Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, humid heat can be felt. At the same time, the sky will be cloudy in many areas.

Weather system

A north south trough from Interior Karnataka to Comorin area has predicted rain over the Malabar Coast.

At the same time, a cyclonic circle has formed over South Chhattisgarh.

A line has been activated on this, a warning of rain with flashes has been issued for Telangana and neighboring areas lying between the circulation and the line in Karnataka.

Another cyclonic circulation is expected to form in the Bay of Bengal. With which there will be a significant change in the weather in East India and Central India within a week.
