WhatsApp has released multi device support feature for these users, now app can run on 4 devices simultaneously

Facebook-owned instant messaging platform WhatsApp is now rolling out a multi-device beta program for some beta testers of the app. With the new feature, users can access WhatsApp Web, WhatsApp Desktop and Portal without internet connection on the main phone.

According to a report by WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is still partially rolling out the feature for certain users, so it is possible that your WhatsApp account is not eligible yet. Users can verify themselves whether they have multi-device support in WhatsApp settings or linked devices, which was earlier called WhatsApp Web or Desktop. If users see a new line called Multi-device, it means they can join the beta program.




‘Joinable Calls’ feature launched

Recently, the company introduced a new feature where users can join a group video or voice call even after it has started, and you see the participants in the video call screen just like you would see on various communication apps. Huh. WhatsApp said ‘Joinable Calls’ eases the burden of answering group calls, and brings the ease and ease of in-person conversations to group calls on WhatsApp.

If someone in your group misses a call when the phone rings, they can still join whenever they want, as long as the call is going on, you can drop-off and rejoin. Group calling on WhatsApp currently allows up to eight participants to video call with each other.

If someone makes a group video call to you, you will get a notification. In such a situation, if you cannot join, then tap on ‘ignore’. If you want to open the call info screen, then tap on ‘join’. With this, you can get information about the call participants and other people on the call menu. Tap on ‘Join’ to join the call. While on the call, tap on Open to open the call info screen. Apart from this, if you want to add people, then click on Add participant.
At the same time, to send notifications to the people who have been invited, you can tap on ‘RING’.




You can join missed voice calls like this

If you want to join missed voice call, then open WhatsApp and then tap on CALLS tab. If the call is in progress and you want to join it, tap on it. After this the call info screen will open and you can join the call by tapping on Join given in the menu.
