The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday that a low pressure area has formed over the Bay of Bengal and adjoining Odisha and West Bengal coasts. Due to this, heavy to very heavy rains can be seen at some places in most parts of East India and Central India. The IMD has said that the low pressure area is very likely to move across Odisha and west-northeastwards during the next 24 hours.
