UP Big Update: Work will be done in three shifts in UP government offices, know the timing

In view of the Corona transition, the state government has now decided to call 50 per cent of the employees in government offices in three shifts. Each shift is kept at half-an-hour intervals. Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari has issued a mandate in this regard.

First shift from 9 o’clock

In view of the corona epidemic, the state government had ordered 50 per cent of its personnel to call the office on the roster from April 9. It has been revised to three shifts. The first shift will be from 9 am to 5.30 pm, the second will be from 9.30 am to 6 pm and the third shift will be from 10 am to 6.30 pm. Officers and employees will now be called on the basis of this in the Secretariat, Legislative Council, Assembly Secretariat and Directorates.

Be called by roster

All the Head of the Department and the controlling authority will ensure such arrangements that the presence of 50 per cent personnel and other officers posted at the level of the Secretariat is ensured in the offices every day. The remaining 50 percent will work from home. The roster of personnel will be decided for this. In this regard, it is advisable to make a weekly roster of the workers working here so that they come to the office in an alternate week. While marking office workers, distance from home and own means used in coming to office will also be taken care of.

Meeting only through video conferencing

According to the roster, workers working from home will be in contact with the office through their mobile and electronic means. They will be called to the office as and when required. This guideline will not be applicable to those employees who are involved in casual and essential services or are playing a direct role in Kovid-19’s blockade. Do not allow the stairs, elevators and parking areas to get crowded. Sanitization, masks, two yards and other equipment will be adopted in the office. Media will be done through video conferencing as much as possible. The entry of outsiders should be barred from the office and the employees should be motivated for vaccination for more than 45 years.
