Yash was born on 8 January 1986 in Bhuvanhalli, Hassan, Karnataka. Her father Arun Kumar was a former BMTC employee and mother Pushpa is a homemaker. She has a younger sister named Nandini. He did his schooling from Mahajana High School in Mysore, Karnataka. After this he went to BV Benaka joined the theater founded by Karant and gained knowledge of early acting. He made his debut with stage shows and TV serials. Yash is also known as a singer in the industry.
Yash met Radhika Pandit on the sets of Nand Gokula. They got married on 9 December 2016. They have a daughter, Aaira and a son Ayush. Yash made his acting debut in 2004 through the TV serial “Uttarayana” and further appeared in ‘Nanda Gokula’, ‘Preity Ellada Mele’.
In 2007, Yash debuted in films with a supporting role in Jambada Hudugi. In 2008, he played the lead role in Mogina Manasu with his wife, Radhika Pandit. He has also appeared in Lucky (2012), Rajauli (2012), Googly (2013, Mr. & Mrs.), Ramachari (2014), KGF: Chapter – 1 (2018). In 2009, Yash also won the Kannada Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor for his film Mogina Mansu.
