You need only two things to generate Universal Account Number. The first is the registered mobile number and the second is the Aadhaar number. With the help of these two, you can generate online UAN sitting at home. Keep in mind that it is very important to link your mobile number and Aadhar card with each other. - UAN can be generated in this way: – You have to first go to https://unifiedportal-
mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/ link. - After that you have to click on ‘Online Aadhaar Verified UAN Allotment’ or Direct UAN Allotment.
- After typing the Aadhaar number, you have to click on generate OTP, after that OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
- After entering the OTP, the disclaimer has to be accepted and after verifying the details, the information has to be filled in the mandatory field.
- After clicking on the captcha code and disclaimer checkbox, click on the ‘register’ button.
- After clicking on the register button, you will be allotted UAL. UAN number will appear on your screen.
- UAN will be activated in this way: – First of all you have to go to www.epfindia.in.
- After clicking on Our Services, the For Employees option has to be selected.
- It is necessary to click on Member UAN / Online Service.
- Here you have to click on the option of Activate your UAN.
- Now you have to enter details like UAN, Name, Date of Birth, Mobile Number and Captcha etc.
- You have to click on the Get Authorization PIN option.
- OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
- You have to enter OTP by clicking on I Agree option.
- Click on Validate OTP and Activate UAN. Your UAN will be activated.
