Airport Credit Cards Rules: If you also often travel by airlines, then you must have used airport lounges. Airport lounge access is available free on credit and debit cards of many banks. Where everything is free from resting to eating and drinking. But now Axis Bank has changed the rules related to this for its customers.
The bank has changed the rules for free airport lounge service available on its debit cards. This facility on credit cards will continue as before. The bank has changed the rules related to its use on some other debit cards including Burgundy, Delight and Priority. Earlier, ICICI Bank had also revised many reward offers for its card customers.
Not only this, Axis Bank has also revised the rules related to EDGE Reward Points, Book My Show offer and international use available on its debit card.
Know what changed in Axis Bank card?
Axis Bank has sent an e-mail in this regard to its customers only last week. Accordingly, it has made many changes in the debit card and the facilities available on it.
- The bank has made it clear that the new rules will come into effect from May 1, 2024.
- Burgundy card holders will now be able to use the airport lounge only if they have made a payment of at least Rs 5,000 through the card in the 3 months before May.
- Whereas if Burgundy card holders make international payments, they will have to pay 1% mark-up fee on dynamic currency conversion. This payment will be made on swipe machine or online payment abroad.
- Burgundy Card holders will now get 4 tickets worth Rs 500 and 4 tickets worth Rs 1000 free per month from Book My Show.
- Rest of the benefits for Priority Card remain the same, except under the Book My Show offer, they will get 25% discount on tickets (maximum Rs. 350) and 20% discount on Food & Beverages (maximum Rs. 60).
- International transactions and Book My Show offers are not valid on Delight Card, while the rest of the benefits are like other cards.
