Flights will start at the new airport from January 6

This name of the airport can be changed. There is a possibility that the airport may be named after Maharishi Valmiki. For this, the UP government is also going to send a proposal to the central government. This has to be decided soon. Flights to major Indian cities will start operating from Ayodhya’s Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport from January 6. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate it on December 30.

Successful landing of Airbus A-320 took place on 22 December.

Recently, on December 22, there was a successful landing of Indian Air Force’s Airbus A-320 at Ayodhya airport. This is a big achievement for Ayodhya. With the opening of the airport, it will be established as an important air travel hub. Airline company IndiGo is ready to fly flights to major cities including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai and Goa.

Recently, Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that people coming to Ayodhya from India and abroad will also get a glimpse of the historical importance of Ayodhya. He said, “Therefore the airport at Ayodhya should not be just another airport. We have tried to include the culture of Ayodhya in our airport.”

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had said, “We all know that the airstrip in Ayodhya was very small. We had only 178 acres of land here. We could not build such a big international airport in such a small strip. Under the instructions of Prime Minister Modi, the proposal which was sent to the Center has been approved by the government. “The Airport Authority of India is working on a war footing to develop the new airport after the state government provided 821 acres of land.”
