In the Kharif season, the farmers of Punjab and Haryana give great importance to the cultivation of paddy, but the cultivation of paddy consumes more water. The Haryana government (in Haryana Government is doing its best to) prevent falling ground water levels.

Along with this, it is encouraging farmers towards less water ripening crops. For this Mera Pani Meri Virasat Scheme has also been started by the Agriculture Department . Haryana government in this context ( Haryana Government ) can get informed that interested farmers registration until June 25 to take advantage of this scheme is. Explain that under this scheme, a provision has been made to give grant of Rs.7 thousand per acre.

What is Mera Pani Meri Virasat Scheme

If farmers grow maize, cotton, kharif oilseeds, kharif pulses, fodder and horticulture crops in paddy fields last year, then there is a provision to give them a grant of Rs. 7 thousand per acre under this scheme.

Farmers will get 10 thousand rupees per acre

The government had decided that if farmers would not sow paddy and sow other crops, the government would give them Rs 7000 per acre. But now the government has decided that whoever does agro forestry, as well as plants 400 trees on his land, then the government will give him 10 thousand rupees. This amount will be available for 3 years.

Gift to Farmers

The special thing is that special steps are being taken by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to save water. In fact, farmers have been given a special gift with the slogan ‘Kheti Khali-Phir Bhi Khushhali’. That is, an incentive amount of 7 thousand rupees will also be given to those farmers under Mera Pani-Meri Virasat Yojana, who will keep their fields empty at the time of paddy harvest.

(How to Get Benefit?)

If farmers want to take advantage of this scheme , then farmers will have to go to Meri Crop-Mera Bora and Mera Pani-Meri Virasat portal. Here detailed information about the crop per acre will have to be filled. After this the information will be uploaded and then the verification will be done by the department. Apart from this, the farmer can get the registration done by contacting the Block Agriculture Officer office of his area.
