IMD Alert: The sluggish monsoon has become active once again in many states including Bihar, Rajasthan. Because of this, there is a possibility of rain.

Southwest Monsoon has now covered the entire country. Due to this it is raining in many states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday that after the re-activation of the Southwest Monsoon, many parts of the country, including the northern region, will receive heavy to very heavy rains in the next six-seven days. The sluggish monsoon has once again become active in many states including Bihar, Rajasthan. The reason for this is the possibility of rain once again. Monsoon rain relief will prove to be helpful for the farmers sowing paddy in Bihar.

The Meteorological Department said that from July 17 to 20, heavy to very heavy rain is expected in the western Himalayan region and Uttar Pradesh. He said that from July 18 to 20, heavy rains are also expected in Punjab, Haryana, East Rajasthan and North Madhya Pradesh. Apart from this, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Delhi on 18 July.

Rain forecast in bihar
According to the department, on July 18, 19 and 20, heavy rains will start in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat including Bihar, Uttar Pradesh. It is being told that starting from July 18, this process of rain is expected to last for six days. Monsoon activity is expected to remain at its peak during this period.

Rain important for farmers
Rain will prove to be helpful for the farmers cultivating paddy, as there will be no need to fill water from tube wells to irrigate the fields. This will save the cost of diesel and electricity, which will reduce the cost of farmers. Kharif crops in Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and other states were drying up due to sluggish monsoon.
