Piaggio India has officially launched Aprilia SXR 125 at a price of 1.15 lakh rupees (ex-showroom, Pune). The bike model was listed on the company’s website last month. Booking for SXR 125 has been started with a token money of Rs 5,000.
The April 3 engine and clean suspension fuel technology of the Aprilia SXR 125 offers significantly better performance, offering a great combo of rider experience and fuel use. The Aprilia SXR 125 is available in four colors – Glossy Red, Matte Blue, Glossy White and Matte Black.
The Aprilia SXR 125 bike takes power from a 125 cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled, three-valve engine with fuel injection. The motor generates 9.3 bhp at 7,600 rpm and 9.2 Nm of peak torque at 6,250 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT unit.
The scooter has telescopic forks at the front and single hydraulic shock at the rear. The braking performance combo comes with a 220 mm disc at the front with braking system (CBS), while the rear gets a 140 mm drum unit. The bike has 12-inch alloy wheels.
The Aprilia SXR 125 feature list features LED headlights with LED DRLs and an all-digital instrument console with taillights and optional Bluetooth connectivity that connects the user’s smartphone to the scooter. Other features include a USB charging port, split glovebox and 20-liter under-seat storage.
