Thank you for all the love you’ve showered me with as listeners over the years. I am pleased to announce that from now on, I will not be taking on any new work as a playback singer. I am saying goodbye to this profession. It has been a wonderful journey.”

I am a fan of good music and in the future, I will learn more and work more on my own as a small artist. Thank you again for your support. I want to make it clear: I will not stop making music.” Arijit clarified that he is only retiring from playback singing. But he will continue making music.
