Mumbai: A major and worrying news has emerged from Maharashtra politics. A private chartered plane belonging to Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar crashed while landing at Baramati Airport on Wednesday morning. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar has died in this accident.

The accident occurred while the plane was landing on the runway of Baramati Airport. It is being reported that during landing the plane went out of control and went off the runway, after which it caught fire and was completely burnt. Ajit Pawar was present in the plane along with his personal assistant, security personnel and plane staff. It is reported that all the people on board the plane were injured.

He was on his way to Baramati for election campaigning.

According to sources, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was traveling to Baramati to address a public meeting in connection with the Zilla Parishad elections. He had chartered a private plane for this purpose. However, the tragic accident occurred before he could reach his destination. Upon receiving information about the incident, local administration and rescue teams arrived at the scene.

Has held the position of Deputy Chief Minister five times

Ajit Pawar is a prominent figure in Maharashtra politics and has held the position of Deputy Chief Minister five times in the last 13 years. His political journey has been full of ups and downs.
