Delhi Weather News: Yesterday, temperatures dropped in Delhi-NCR after a strong thunderstorm and heavy rain. The yellow alert issued by the India Meteorological Department two days ago proved to be completely correct. The sky remained cloudy throughout the day, and temperatures dropped. This weather change has increased the impact of cold and fog, while the department has warned of more rain in the future.

In Ghaziabad, Noida, and surrounding areas, heavy rain accompanied by light hail fell. The weather took a turn from the morning of January 27th, and darkness prevailed throughout the day. According to the Meteorological Department, after the heavy rain on January 23rd and 27th, there is a possibility of more rain, which will further intensify the cold.

Thunderstorms and rain will occur again

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that Delhi-NCR will once again experience thunderstorms and rain. Strong winds with speeds of 40 to 60 kilometers per hour are expected. The strong winds and rain will further cause temperatures to drop, increasing the chill. The Meteorological Department has already issued a yellow alert, advising people to remain vigilant to avoid any inconvenience.

The weather will change again on February 1st

According to meteorologists, the next rain in Delhi-NCR will occur on February 1st, likely accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms. Dr. Shashikant Mishra, a senior scientist at the India Meteorological Department, stated that a yellow alert has been issued for the entire NCR, including Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Faridabad, for February 1st.

Dusty winds with speeds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour will blow on this day, and there will be heavy rain. The region has also recorded significant rainfall in the past 24 hours. A slight increase in minimum temperature can be seen between January 28 and 31, but from February 1, the weather will change once again and the effect of cold will remain.
