Bank of India has now increased the rates of FD. From now on, customers will get the benefit of 7% interest on FD. Information about this has been given on the official website of the bank. Giving information, the bank has told that the increased rate of interest will be available on FDs of less than Rs 2 crore.

Giving information, the Bank of India has said that after the amendment, bank general customers will get three percent to seven percent interest on full-term deposits from seven days to 10 years. At the same time, the bank is giving the benefit of 7.50 percent interest to senior citizen customers and 7.65 percent interest to very senior citizens (above 80 years) on one year FD.

>> 7 to 14 days – 3 percent
>> 15 to 30 days – 3%
>> 31 to 45 days – 3 percent
>> 46 to 90 days – 4.50 percent
>> 91 to 179 days – 4.50 percent
>> 180 to 269 days – 5%
>> 270 to less than 1 year – 5.50 percent
>> 1 year – 7 percent
>> From 1 year to less than 2 years – 6 percent
>> From 2 years to less than 3 years – 6.75 percent
>> From 3 years to less than 5 years – 6.50 percent
>> From 5 years to less than 8 years – 6 percent
>> From 8 years to 10 years – 6 percent

Many other banks also increased interest rates

Small Finance Bank has also increased the interest rates. Apart from this, Fincare Small Finance Bank has also changed the interest rates. The new rates of the bank have come into effect from May 25. The bank is giving the benefit of interest at the rate of 8.51 percent on 1000 days FD to ordinary citizens.

Senior citizens are getting 9 percent interest
Talking about senior citizens, now these bank customers are getting the benefit of interest at the rate of 9.11 percent. Customers are getting the benefit of more than 9 percent interest on 1000 days FD. To get the benefit of higher interest on FD, you have to deposit a minimum of Rs 5000.
