Bank Holiday: If any work related to the bank is dealt with today, banks will remain closed for three consecutive days from tomorrow.

As per the holidays issued by the Reserve Bank of India, the banks will be closed for 12 days in the month of May, including weekly holidays, national holidays.   • 7 May – Friday – Jamaat-ul-Vida (Banks will not open due to Jammu and Srinagar Jamaat-ul-Vida)
  • May 8 – Saturday – Weekly Holiday
  • May 9 – Sunday – Weekly Holiday

According to the Reserve Bank of India, on May 1, banks were closed in Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata due to Labor Day, but in cities like Lucknow, New Delhi, banks were functioning on this day. Apart from this, on May 2, all banks in the country were closed due to weekly holiday. Banks will remain closed on what days ahead – >> May 13 – Thursday – (Banks in Srinagar, Jammu, Nagpur and Kanpur will be closed due to the festival of Eid.)

  • May 14 – Friday – Parashuram Jayanti / Eid / Akshaya Tritiya ( Banks will be open on this day in Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur.)
  • 16 May – Sunday – Weekly Holiday
