Bank Holiday of Ramnavami: Banks will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th. Banks in most states of the country will be closed on account of Ram Navami. Ram Navami is an important festival in Hinduism, celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram. This festival falls on the ninth day of the Shukla Paksha (bright fortnight) of the month of Chaitra and is celebrated with reverence and devotion across the country. This is why banks will be closed tomorrow in many states.

Banks will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, March 26th.

March 26 – Ram Navami

Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Ranchi, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Kolkata.

March 27 – Ram Navami (Chaitra Dashain)

Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, and Gangtok.

March 31 – Mahavir Jayanti

Banks will be closed in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, and Ranchi.

Despite bank closures, customers should not be alarmed as net banking, mobile banking, UPI, and ATM services will remain operational. However, check clearing, cash deposits, or withdrawals will not be possible on that day. Therefore, if you have any urgent banking needs, it is best to plan ahead.
