SBI new Jobs, SBI Hiring Process: State Bank of India i.e. SBI is going to give jobs to 12 thousand employees. Apart from Information Technology (IT), the bank is working to recruit about 12,000 employees for various other roles. Along with IT, these employees will also be given training for different roles.

Employee appointment process

Bank Chairman Dinesh Khara has given detailed information in this regard on Thursday. Khara has said in this regard that these newly appointed employees will be given exposure only around banking. He also said that some of them will be transferred to IT and other support roles at a later date. Giving more information, Khara also said that about 11,000 to 12,000 employees are in the recruitment process, who are general employees.

Recruitment has started

Recruitment has been started for the financial year ending March 2024. The total number of employees of the bank was 2 lakh 32 thousand 2 hundred 96. Which was 2 lakh 35 thousand 8 hundred 58 in FY 23. The chairman of the bank further said that the bank is especially considering technology skills to appoint new employees. Said- Recently, recruitment for technology skills has been started.

Rs 1.28 lakh crore

The bank has announced a dividend of Rs 13.70 on each equity share for the financial year 2023-24. Khara has informed that its net NPA came down to 0.57 percent on March 31, 2024 from 0.67 percent a year ago. The company’s revenue increased to Rs 1.28 lakh crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 1.06 lakh crore a year ago.
