This bandh will be supported by more than 8 crore businessmen of the country under CAT (CAIT). At the same time, All India Transport Welfare Association will also join this bandh.

The Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) has announced the India trade off on 26 February against the distorted form of GST. In support of this bandh, the All India Transport Welfare Association, the largest organization in the transport sector, has announced a roundabout on 26 February, supporting the India trade off of CAT.

In Nagpur, a three-day national business conference organized by CAT, which started today in Nagpur, has been jointly attended by more than 200 prominent business leaders from all the states of the country. This bandh will be supported by more than 8 crore businessmen of the country under CAT. At the same time, All India Transport Welfare Association will also join this bandh.

GST Fully Fail System

This announcement has been made jointly by CAT’s National President BC Bhartia and National General Secretary Praveen Khandelwal and National President of All India Transport Welfare Association Pradeep Singhal. Bhartia and Khandelwal accused the GST Council of distorting the nature of GST for its own benefit, saying that GST is completely a failed tax system.

Messing with the basic form of GST

The basic form of GST is messed with. All the state governments are more concerned about their vested interests and they are not worried about the simplification of the tax system. Instead of doing business, the traders of the country spend all day in the GST tax cradle, which is an opposite situation for the country’s economy. In such a situation, the present form of GST needs to be rethought.

Amended 937 times

GST infrastructure has changed after GST has been revised more than 937 times in four years. Despite repeated calls, the GST Council has not taken any cognizance of the issues raised by CAT so far, so traders have announced an India trade bandh to convey their points to the people across the country.
