Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee ( Mamta Banerjee ) has no problem with the implementation of this plan to announce it on Monday, saying the state government. Money will come directly to the farmers’ account
Banerjee said that if the central government wishes, it can send money directly to the farmers’ account by not sending money to the state government’s accounts. However, earlier they had stipulated the amount to be paid through the state government. But now withdrawing his condition, he has appealed to put the money directly in the farmers account. After this decision of Mamta government, the Center has said that the list of farmers given by the state will be verified.
11 crore 4 lakh farmers registered
Significantly, under the PM Kisan Yojana, 11 crore 4 lakh farmers have been registered so far. Under this scheme, before 10 crore 59 lakh farmers, more than Rs 96,000 crore was directly transferred to their bank account. The annual budget of this scheme is about 75,000 crores. Let us tell that under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme, the government deposits Rs 6000 every year in the bank accounts of farmers. This scheme was not previously implemented in West Bengal.
