BMW Bikes Launched: You will be stunned to see such a cool motorcycle, look and features of BMW launched in India

These bikes are being called the king of off-roading. The company has given many updates in 2021 models. Indian riders can visit their nearest dealership to know more about this bike and also book the bike.

BMW Motorrad has launched the updated 2021 R 1250 GS and R 1250 GS adventure motorcycles in India. The updated R 1250 GS has been priced at Rs 20.45 lakh and the updated R 1250 GS Adventure has been priced at Rs 22.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the bikes will be made available as Completely Built-up (CBU) units. Bookings for both the bikes have started at the company’s dealerships. Updates to the new bikes include new colors as well as upgraded equipment.

With the annual update, the bikes now get standard Dynamic Traction Control, an Eco Mode and BMW Integral ABS Pro system. This new feature is a kind of combi-braking system that forces both the front and rear brakes to be applied simultaneously. It also works with a six-axis IMU to adjust braking according to different riding conditions.

Features of the bike

New color options on the bikes include Triple Black and Solid White paint schemes. The new BMW R 1250 GS Adventure will be seen in triple black color with a new ice gray colour. It is also likely that the company will introduce ‘Edition 40 Years GS’ black and yellow paintwork on the bikes in future to mark the completion of 40 years of the iconic BMW GS motorcycle. This paint scheme will take inspiration from the BMW R 100 GS.

The bikes also get Bluetooth-enabled TFT color display and USB charging socket. Exterior highlights of the bike include beak-style front, asymmetric headlight design and adjustable windscreen. Optionally, the bike will be offered with adaptive cornering lights and updated Hill Start Control Pro system.

Bike features

The bike draws power from a BS6 compliant 1,254cc, twin-cylinder engine that generates 136 hp power at 7,750rpm and 143Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. The engine also gets BMW’s Shiftcam technology and comes mated to a 6-speed transmission.
