BMW will introduce 25 new products in India this year, 3 Series Gran Limousine launched

new Delhi. In India this year, BMW is looking to expand its product portfolio rapidly. The company plans to introduce 25 new products in India this year to boost sales following the worsening situation caused by the corona virus epidemic. Along with this, the company also launched the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine on Thursday.




BMW has priced the BMW 3 Series Gran Limousine between Rs 51.5 to 53.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The company believes that it will grow in double digits this year as people are now turning to luxury cars following international travel and travel restrictions due to the Corona virus.

The 3 Series Gran Limousine is the long-wheelbase version of the popular sedan. The promise of more space and comfort in this car is obviously one of the biggest attractions to join the BMW India product portfolio.

The 3 Series Gran Limousine has a wheelbase 110 mm longer than the older 3 Series and has a length of 2,961 mm. The sedan is 120 mm long overall which helps give more leg space for the rear passengers and is 43 mm more. Apart from this, there is a slight change in height as well.

Rear seat cushioning has been further improved in the 3 Series Gran Limousine which adds significantly more comfort. The cabin also boasts of a panoramic glass sunroof, ambient lights, BMW Live cockpit professionals and wireless charging.

The car has a choice of a 2.0-liter turbo petrol under the bonnet and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine. The petrol engine offers a maximum power of 258 PS and maximum torque of 400 Nm while the diesel engine produces a peak power of 190 PS and torque of 400 Nm.

If you talk about transmission, then it has an eight-speed auto gear box and it offers three drive modes to choose from in Eco, City and Sport.

At the same time, Chairman of BMW Group India, Vikram Paava said that the group will launch 25 new products this year to take advantage of the opportunity. These include eight completely new products, nine facelifts and eight variants. The BMW Group sells luxury cars and SUVs under the BMW and Mini brands, while under BMW Motorrad it sells motorcycles.
