BSNL 4G Launch PM Modi: Another special day in the history of BSNL is approaching. BSNL’s 4G network will be launched on Saturday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch BSNL’s 4G stack, which will be rolled out at 98 thousand sites across the country. BSNL 4G is also special because it is completely built on indigenous technology. Now India will become the fifth country in the world which can manufacture and supply 4G related software and hardware on its own. With the launch of the service, all the telecom operators of India will be equipped with 4G. Companies like Jio, Airtel, Vi are already on 4G and 5G networks.

TCS integrated the entire system
Tata Consultancy Services also played a key role in the BSNL 4G rollout. According to reports, the core network for 4G was developed by C-DOT (Centre for Development of Telematics). The radio access network was developed by Tejas Networks, and the entire system was integrated by TCS.
Upgrade to 5G is possible
BSNL may have lagged behind private telecom companies in launching 4G, but it can compete with them equally in 5G. According to reports, BSNL’s 4G network has been designed to be easily upgradeable to 5G. BSNL is expected to launch 5G services in Delhi and Mumbai by the end of this year. BSNL’s 4G rollout is expected to benefit its more than 90 million wireless subscribers. Many users who left BSNL due to mobile network and internet connectivity issues may also return as the recharge plans of the government company are cheaper than those of private companies.
