Budget 2021: Government declaration, no change in income tax slab

New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced in the Budget 2021 that the slab of income tax will remain the same. That is, this time there was no change in the income tax slab. Although Agri Infa Development Cess will be imposed.

government said on Monday that the free LPG LPG scheme (Ujjwala) will be expanded and one crore more beneficiaries will be brought under its purview. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitamaran announced this on Monday.

Presenting the general budget for 2021-22, the Finance Minister said that uninterrupted supply of fuel was continued during the Kovid-19 epidemic. He said that the city gas distribution network of delivering gas through pipes to homes and providing CNG to vehicles will be expanded to cover 100 more districts.

He also announced the Transport System Operator (TSO) for the regulation of general carrying capacity to promote a gas-based economy.

government on Monday proposed a budget outlay of Rs 2,23,846 crore in terms of health and welfare for 2021-22. In this, an increase of 137 percent is proposed against the budget outlay of Rs 94,452 crore for the current financial year.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, in her budget speech, also proposed an outlay of Rs 35,000 crore in terms of vaccines for Kovid-19 for the next financial year and also announced the availability of pneumococcal vaccines across the country, which is more than 50,000 every year. The lives of children will be saved.

Presenting the general budget for 2021-22, the Finance Minister said, “I have made a provision of Rs 35,000 crore for Kovid-19 vaccines for 2021-22. I commit to give more money when needed.




He said that India has already approved the use of two vaccines of Kovid-19 and two more vaccines could soon be included in the vaccination campaign in the country. Pneumococcal vaccine is effective against fatal infections such as pneumonia, septicemia and meningitis.

The Finance Minister said, “Pneumococcal vaccine manufactured in India is currently limited to only five states. It will be made available in the entire country. ”Sitharaman said that this would save the lives of more than 50,000 children in the country every year.
