CBSE will release 12th result by July 31

CBSE has filed a new affidavit in the Supreme Court on Monday regarding the 12th result. CBSE has said that it will release the 12th result by July 31.

CBSE has said that a committee will look into the objections of the students on the result. CBSE has said that students will have the opportunity to send online applications if they want to take the written examination. It has been said in the affidavit that the marks of written examination between August 15 and September 15 will be considered final.

CBSE and ICSE had said on June 17 last that the result of class 12th examination will be declared by July 31. Attorney General KK Venugopal, appearing for CBSE, told the Supreme Court that the marks will be awarded on the basis of the performance of the students in class X, XI and XII examinations. Explaining the process of giving marks to the students, CBSE had said that while evaluating the student, 30 percent on the basis of the three best marks of class X, 30 percent on the basis of the marks of XI and 40 percent on the basis of the unit test of class 12, etc. Will be given

CBSE said that there will be a results committee for every school. Due to the result committee, there will be no scope for the schools to give more marks to their students. The Attorney General told the court that there would be a moderation committee which would oversee the process of awarding marks by the school. The performance of the schools in the preceding few years of 12th will also be taken into account. He said that the students who are not satisfied with the marks obtained on the basis of this mechanism can appear in the physical examination and get their marks improved. Physical examination will be organized when the condition of Corona improves.

The court, while stamping the process of giving marks of CBSE, rejected the demand of some petitioners to conduct the examination. The court had said that there will be no review of the decision to cancel the examination. If needed, later students can appear in the physical exam to improve their marks.
