Complete Lockdown In India! Corona’s havoc doesn’t stop, is there a complete lockdown option? The government also gave hints – what the figures say

Nationwide Lockdown Updates: The second wave of Corona in the country continues to wreak havoc. Every day 3-4 lakh new cases are coming out in India. Restrictions like lockdown are in place in many states, but the number of cases filed daily is not decreasing. There is a demand for complete lockdown amid fast-growing cases of Corona. The Supreme Court has also asked the central and state government to consider the lockdown. On the other hand, Dr. Randeep Guleria, Director of AIIMS has also talked about Strict Lockdown like last year. He has advocated a strict lockdown like the month of March last year. Experts are not advocating lockdown just to break the chain of infection. The matter of the third wave of corona has also come to light among all of them. Dr. K Vijay Raghavan, Scientific Advisor to the Central Government has said that the third wave of Corona in the country (Coronavirus Third Wave) cannot be avoided. The biggest question among all of this is, will the central government impose a lockdown on the entire country like last year?

Demand for complete lockdown in the country

  1. On the other hand, signs of nationwide lockdown have also been given by the government. When asked about the lockdown, NITI Aayog member (health) Dr VK Paul said that the central government has given directions to the state governments regarding the restrictions to break the chain of infection. He also said that if something more needs to be done in the coming time, all its options can be discussed.
  2. VK Paul said, if the infection increases too much then a ban is imposed for breaking the chain. People’s movement is stopped. Guidelines were released in detail in this regard on 29 April. It was said that we have to stop the transmission and in areas where the infection rate is more than 10 percent, the state governments have been advised for night curfew. State governments will take a decision. Apart from this, there is a complete ban on social, political, sports, religious mobilization.
  3. In the worst affected state of Maharashtra, 62,194 new cases were reported and 853 patients lost their lives during this period. At present, the number of infected people in the state has increased to 49,42,736 and so far 42,27,940 people have been cured. There are 6,39,075 active cases in Maharashtra and 73,515 people have died so far.
  4. During the last 24 hours in Uttar Pradesh, 353 more people died due to Kovid-19 infection and in 26780 new patients this infection was confirmed. Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad said that with this, the number of people who died due to this virus in the state has increased to 14,501.
  5. There were 12421 new cases of virus infection in Madhya Pradesh and with this the total number of people found so far infected with this virus has reached 6,37,406. In the last 24 hours in the state, 86 more people died due to this disease in the state and the number of those who lost their lives increased to 6,160.
  6. On Thursday, 13,846 new cases of corona were reported in Chhattisgarh and 212 lost their lives. The number of infected in the state has increased to 8,16,489 and so far 9950 people have died. There are 1,31,245 active cases here and so far 1,30,553 people have been cured after treatment.
  7. In Assam, 4,936 new cases were registered and 46 people died during this period. There are 31,829 active cases in the state and the total number of infected is 2,77,687.
  8. In Haryana, 14,840 new cases of corona were reported and 177 people died during this period. During this period, 12,246 people were also cured and this figure has increased to 4,52,836. In Haryana, the number of infected is 5,73,815 and 5,137 people have died so far. There are 1,15,842 active cases.
  9. On Thursday, 8,874 new cases of corona were reported in Punjab and 154 people died during this period. The total infectious figure in the state has risen to 4,16,350. Currently there are 66,568 active cases.
  10. In Rajasthan, 17,532 new cases of Korana infection were reported on Thursday, while 161 more patients died due to the epidemic. There are 1,98,010 active cases in the state, while 5,182 people have died so far.
  11. Today, more than 49 thousand new patients of corona virus have been found in Karnataka. The Health Department said that in the last twenty-four hours, 49,058 new cases of corona have been found in the state and 328 people died during this period. The good thing is that in the meantime 18,943 people have also recovered. The number of infected in the state is now 17,90,014. Of these, 17,212 people have died. The state now has 5,17,075 active cases and a total of 12,55,797 people have been cured.
  12. After a record 42,464 new cases of corona in Kerala, the number of infected people increased to 17,86,396. During this period, due to the death of 63 patients, the death toll from this epidemic increased to 5,628. During the last 24 hours in Kerala, 27,152 patients of Kovid-19 were discharged from hospital after recovering.
