New Delhi, ANI. The 14th season of IPL has to be postponed due to Corona breaking into the bio bubble. Due to this, the players have started going to their respective homes. But unfortunately Chennai Super Kings batting coach Michael Hussey will have to wait for it. He has been found infected with Corona and will be able to go home only after a negative report is received. That is why the franchise has brought him from Delhi to Chennai by air ambulance.

Talking to news agency ANI, a senior CSK official said that both Hussey and bowling coach L Balaji were brought to Chennai to ensure better control over the situation. The official confirmed that captain MS Dhoni would leave for Ranchi in the afternoon.

The official said that we have better connectivity in Chennai. Therefore, it was decided to bring both Hussey and Balaji to Chennai in an air ambulance. Fortunately, they have no symptoms of corona and both are fine. But yes, Hussey will have to wait for a negative report before leaving India. We arrange a charter flight for them.

Asked about the remaining foreign players, the official said that charter flights have been arranged and there is no question of waiting for them. Safety of players is a priority and we have planned charter aircraft for all of them. We want to bring them to a safe home at the earliest. The league was postponed by the BCCI and the IPL Governing Council, giving priority to the safety of everyone involved in the IPL.

Corona of Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi Capitals spinner Amit Mishra were found infected on Tuesday. The league was then postponed. A day earlier on Monday, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowlers Sandeep Warrier and Varun Chakraborty and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowling coach L Balaji were found to be test positive for Corona.
