Corona killed on the Supreme Court! From April 22, only urgent cases will be heard

In view of the increasing transition of Kovid-19, the Supreme Court will hear only urgent cases from 22 April. The court gave this information in a circular. The court has adjourned all the cases listed on 22 April. Significantly, many employees were infected in the registry of the Supreme Court. The court has made it clear in the circular which cases will be considered necessary. The court has been hearing only through video conferencing for the last one year.




The court will now hear cases like capital punishment, habeas corpus, anticipatory bail, etc. The decision has been taken following the increasing cases of corona in the capital Delhi.

Please tell that this month it was reported that many Supreme Court employees have been found corona infected. In the past few days, more than 40 Supreme Court employees were found to be infected with the Corona virus, news agency PTI reported.

After this, it was reported last week that all the staff members of Supreme Court Judge MR Shah have been infected with Corona virus. Subsequently, a bench headed by Justice DY Chandrachud stopped functioning. The bench also included Justice MR Shah.
