Corona virus continues to wreak havoc in the country for the last one year. The corona epidemic in the country has broken this year’s record. This year, for the first time in the last 24 hours, more than 26 thousand new cases of corona were recorded on Monday morning. At the same time, after three months, the number of active cases has crossed two lakh cases for the first time. The Union Ministry gave this information on Monday.
According to the latest data released on Monday by the Health Ministry, 26,291 new cases of infection with the corona virus have been reported in the last 24 hours. With this, the total number of infections in the country has increased to 1,13,85,339. Before this, more than 26 thousand cases of corona infection were registered on December 19 last year. At the same time, 118 people have died due to this deadly infection in the last 24 hours, with the death toll reaching 1,58,725.

Three months later, active cases cross two lakh
According to the latest data from the Health Ministry, 17,455 corona patients have returned to their homes in the last 24 hours. With this, 1,10,07,352 patients in the country have been successful in beating the corona virus so far. There has been a significant decrease in the number of patients recovering compared to the new corona cases recorded on a daily basis. At the same time, in the last three months, the active cases of corona have crossed two lakhs, whereas the active cases before it remained below two lakhs.
Vaccination: India at number two after America
The country continues to have the world’s largest vaccination campaign. India has come second in the list of countries with the fastest immunization by applying corona vaccine to 2,99,08,038 people, while America is at number one.
Strictness increased in Madhya Pradesh
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that I have instructed the team to discuss other necessary steps to prevent corona proliferation including night curfew. A meeting will be held tomorrow to prevent the spread of Corona, if necessary, some other steps will be taken.
