Delhi Traffic Advisory: The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory for the official ceremony scheduled to take place at Lok Niwas on March 11. The event, which will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will affect traffic in Civil Lines and surrounding areas.
Traffic will be affected in some areas of North Delhi today (Wednesday), March 11. The Delhi Traffic Police issued an advisory on its official X account, stating that special traffic arrangements have been implemented in view of an official ceremony at Lok Niwas. The event will run from 11 am to 4 pm, and traffic movement in the area may be affected due to the movement of various dignitaries.
According to the traffic police advisory, the routes where traffic will be affected include ITO Chowk, Ring Road, Mall Road, Rajpur Road, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, Shamnath Marg, Boulevard Road, and the surrounding roads. Lok Niwas is the official residence and office of the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, located on Raj Niwas Marg in the Civil Lines area.
Traffic Advisory
In view of an official function at Lok Niwas on 11.03.2026 (11:00 AM – 04:00 PM), special traffic arrangements will be in place.

According to the traffic police, diversions may be implemented at several locations if necessary. These include the PS Civil Lines red light, Shamnath Marg red light, Tis Hazari Court red light, Khoya Mandi U-turn, Khyber Pass red light, St. Stephen’s red light, Rajpur Authority Cut, and MCD Chowk.
The Delhi Traffic Police has appealed to people to plan their travel in advance and use alternative routes. It should be noted that during such events in Delhi, the traffic police often strictly enforce traffic rules to ensure safety and minimize traffic jams.
