Don’t be afraid of Corona crisis, this time your salary will increase

A gradual recovery is being recorded in India’s economy. Last year, a sharp decline was recorded in view of the Coronavirus crisis. Meanwhile, a study conducted in the country said that about 60 percent of the companies in the country are showing interest in giving salary increment to their staff in the year 2021.




This information has been found in a report by staffing firm Genius Consultant. There is a plan to strengthen the work force as a result of better growth rate in the companies operating in India, expectation of the market to remain stable and to improve the functioning of the companies.

The report said that this year business in India is serious on the issue of salary increment and wants to give good increment to its staff. About 60 percent of the companies say that this time salary increment can be between 5 to 10 percent.

Of the companies involved in this survey, 20 percent believe that this year salary increment can be less than 5 percent. Along with this, about 20 percent companies also believe that salary increment is not going to happen in the year 2021 as well.

The study was carried out in February and March 2021 involving more than 1200 companies. It includes institutions from almost every sector including banking-finance, construction, engineering, education / teaching / training, FMCG, hospitality, HR solutions, IT and BPO, logistics, manufacturing, media, oil and gas, pharma-medical, power and Energy, real estate, auto and accessories etc. are included.

Companies from different regions of the country have been included in this study. 43% of the companies involved in this study have said that they are getting opportunities for new jobs. With this, 4 1 percent companies have said that they are insisting on replacement replacement.




Only 11 percent of the companies involved in the survey have said that they do not have any job opportunities for new people. If we talk according to the different areas of the country, then most of the new job opportunities are being created in the southern part, in which about 37 percent companies are planning new appointments. With this, 33 percent of the companies in the western part of the country say that new job opportunities can be created with them.
