The anchor suddenly fainted while reading the news on Doordarshan, due to which all the media persons present in the studio got worried.

The temperature is rising rapidly across the country, due to which heat is now becoming a cause of trouble for people. While narrating the news of rising temperatures and heatwave, a Doordarshan anchor suddenly fainted on live TV, due to which there was an atmosphere of chaos in the studio.

The name of Doordarshan anchor is Lopamudra Sinha, who was reading the news related to heatwave on live TV on Doordarshan, and during this time she fainted. Later he gave information about his health. Let us tell you that Lopamudra works in the Kolkata branch of Doordarshan West Bengal.

Lopamudra Sinha gave an update on his health on Facebook. She said that during the live news, my BP dropped significantly and I fainted. I was feeling ill for a long time. I thought that it would be cured by drinking some water but it did not happen at that time.

She said that I never sit down with water to read the news, whether it is 10 minutes or half an hour news. I pointed towards the floor manager and asked for a water bottle, but when I fainted, the story was going on so I could not drink water. Regarding the accident that happened to her in the studio, she further said that I thought that I could finish the remaining four news stories. I somehow completed two.

Fainted while reading news of heatwave

Lopamudra said that the third story was about heatwave and while reading it, I slowly started feeling dizzy. I thought I could finish it and tried to control myself, but suddenly I couldn’t see anything, the teleprompter dimmed and my eyes went dark.

It is noteworthy that the mercury in West Bengal has been causing problems since the beginning of April. Panagarh in Burdwan district here recorded the state’s highest temperature (42.5 degrees Celsius), while the IMD has predicted that other areas of South Bengal will see further heat in the next two to three days.
