Mukhtar Ansari: Bahubali and former MLA Mukhtar Ansari has died in Banda hospital. Mukhtar Ansari was admitted to the hospital after suffering a heart attack in jail. Earlier on Thursday evening, the health of former MP and strongman leader Mukhtar Ansari, lodged in Banda jail, has deteriorated due to a heart attack. On receiving the information, DM and SP of Banda reached the jail. On his instructions, Mukhtar was hurriedly taken to Banda Medical College Hospital.
After the death of Mukhtar Ansari during treatment in Banda hospital, Section 144 has been implemented in Mau, Banda and Ghazipur. According to a jail official, Mukhtar Ansari was taken to the Medical College Hospital under tight security. If sources are to be believed, the former MP was taken to the Medical College Hospital two days ago due to complaints of stomach gas and urine infection.

According to information received from sources, Mukhtar had become unconscious during the checkup. Immediately after leaving Banda jail, he was hurriedly admitted to the hospital. During this time, heavy police force was deployed on the way. Mukhtar was admitted to the hospital two days ago also. Mukhtar stayed in the hospital for full 14 hours. He was again sent to jail late in the evening. His health was tested in the jail on Wednesday, in which everything was found normal. However, after two days his health deteriorated again and he died during treatment in Banda.
