Shrikant Sharma said that consumers do not have to worry about the power sub-station, so that from next month on the App and Portal of Energy Department, meter change, electricity rectification, load change, name and address correction, name change, category change and connection. Applications for permanent deduction will also be accepted.
This will give a lot of convenience to the consumers. He has instructed the consumers to take the complaints of getting wrong bills seriously.
He said that complaints of wrong bills coming even in new connections are not acceptable under any circumstances. The accountability of the concerned officers should be fixed on the irregularities in billing.
The minister said that the MD and director should also go to the field and find out the problems and solve them. He has also asked the officials to do patrolling at the time of relief.
Sharma said that this summer the demand of more than 25 thousand MW is being supplied. This demand is expected to increase to 28 thousand MW next year.
In such a situation, it is necessary that along with the transmission network, the distributor network will also be able to improve accordingly.
To ensure that the lead balancing of substations, feeders and transformers is fine, work should be done by making an action plan, so that there is no problem in summer.
